We are extremely pleased to announce that Shane Brady has joined CSD Attorneys at Law as a principal attorney. Shane was previously with the litigation defense firm of Simmons Sweeney Freimund Smith Tardiff based in Washington State.

Shane is a litigator with extensive experience handling claims involving civil rights, premises liability, discrimination, negligence, and public nuisance, among other business and public agency matters. He also served in the Bellingham City Attorney’s office as the City’s primary civil litigator, risk manager advising all City departments on risk and liability, police legal advisor, and lead criminal prosecutor. As a litigator, Shane has appeared in multiple courts and administrative proceedings, including district court, superior court, the Washington State Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Washington State Supreme Court.

Shane joins the firm’s litigation and municipal law practice groups where he will employ his considerable skills and experience assisting private and public agency clients throughout the State of Washington.

Shane grew up on Whidbey Island and attended Western Washington University, where he played on the men’s soccer team. After WWU, he went to the Gonzaga University School of Law, graduating in 2003.
